New Post: What is the impact of support EOL for FoxPro?

I just pieced together a completely native FoxPro GS-128 PTI label program, July, 2016. So FoxPro will never die as long at there are developers using it who see its added value to the tool-set for developers. Countless times in my development career I have turned to FoxPro for fast and effective results. It is very easy to sell FoxPro when you see the vision of what it was developed for. It is the only true database centered development environment. As a SQL Server back-end database driven application tool, it is extremely powerful and a very happy marriage of technology. EOL means nothing to die hard FoxPro developers. Especially when you have a large following of passionate developers. For database driven apps, FoxPro makes development fun and easy to knock the socks off CFO's and CEO's looking for information. Pulling and manipulating data before executive eyes can make FoxPro very easy to sell. Give me my FoxPro cursor and command window or give me death! I will be long gone the way of the Dodo before FoxPro. I expect that FoxPro to be here 100 years from now running in some emulator. Of course don't forget that we can use FoxPro on the web. I am going to develop the PTI label application for the web likely using FoxWeb. I will say that I developed a love for another language (Python). But I still turn to the Fox so many times because I enjoy it. What is life without joy. To stay up all night making FoxPro the champ once again because it can. Cheers to all FoxPro enthusiasts who keep the flame alive!

Regards,

Rob
